How Should I Heat My Little Spoon Plates?

The Best Ways to Heat Little Spoon Plates

Updated over a week ago

Little Spoon's meals are crafted for convenience without compromising on quality and taste. Whether you prefer using a microwave, oven, air fryer, toaster oven, or skillet, we've got options to suit every family's needs. Here's how to ensure your Little Spoon meals are heated perfectly every time:

Microwave Heating:

  • Basic Instructions: Remove the sleeve and heat the Plate with the Freshlock seal intact for 60-90 seconds on high. The seal may inflate and make popping noises, which is normal.

  • Rest Time: After heating, let the Plate rest for 30 seconds before carefully peeling back the film.

  • From Frozen: For frozen meals, start by adding an extra 15-20 seconds to the microwave time, adjusting in 5-second increments as needed.

Oven, Air Fryer, or Toaster Oven Heating:

  • Preparation: First, remove the sleeve and Freshlock seal. Transfer the meal to an oven-safe dish or your air fryer basket.

  • Temperature and Time: Heat at 325 degrees for 4-7 minutes, or until thoroughly heated. For frozen meals, add 3-4 minutes to the initial cook time.

  • Texture: This method is great for achieving a crispy texture on finger foods.

Skillet Heating:

  • Method: Remove the sleeve and Freshlock seal, then transfer the meal to a skillet over medium heat. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water or your preferred oil.

  • Cooking Time: Stir and heat for 4-7 minutes. This method is ideal for pasta dishes, enhancing flavors and texture.

Safety Note:

  • Our Plates and seals are microwave-safe but should NOT be used directly in the oven or toaster oven.
